The Country Patients’ Dental Subsidy Scheme (CPDSS) is organised by the government to assist in the cost of dental treatment for people who receive a payment from Centrelink or have a health care card*.
Eligible patients can receive an examination, 2 emergency treatments, and $1500 of general dental care per year.
Patients who would like to receive a rebate from dental health services need to bring a current income statement and an up to date pension or health care card to their dental appointment.
From there, our receptionist will call dental health services and determine the percentage that will be covered for the dental treatment.
*Only to eligible applicants.
